The moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived: Hannah Montana is officially stepping back into the spotlight! This afternoon, Disney+ dropped an official teaser of the 20th anniversary special, and yes, we’re jumping up and down right there with you! Here are all the deets you need to know.

What will it be about?
The Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special is filmed in front of a live studio audience. It will also feature an interview between Miley and Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper.
Even better? The special will feature never-before-seen archival footage and will rebuild some of the show’s most iconic sets—including Miley Stewart’s living room and Hannah Montana’s closet. (Suddenly, Miley’s recent IG post about digging through her Hannah Montana archives makes total sense!)

It’s also confirmed that Miley will perform some of the biggest Hannah Montana hits that we blasted during our childhood, including “Nobody’s Perfect,” “Supergirl” and “If We Were A Movie.”
Miley shared, “Hannah Montana will always be a part of who I am. What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be thankful for that connection. The fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I am very proud of. This ‘Hannahversary’ is my way of celebrating and saying thank you to all of the fans who have stood by me for 20 years.”
Could a concert still happen?
While only the special has officially been announced so far, there have been rumors swirling about the possibility of a one-night-only Hannah Montana concert at Madison Square Garden. Nothing has been confirmed or denied—but if it does happen, you bet we will be in the Ticketmaster queue!
Where and when can I watch it?
You will be able to stream the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special on March 24 on Disney+! While we wait, you bet we’ll be streaming all four seasons of Hannah Montana and rewatching the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert.
