It’s the first full weekend in November so we hereby give you permission to begin curating your perfect holiday playlist.
And singer/songwriter/soon-to-be Disney royalty Liamani Segura is here to headline it.
Consider it an early present: The star of Disney’s Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3 just dropped a cozy, cheer-filled bop, called “Christmas I Won’t Forget”. We were lucky enough to score a behind-the-scenes peek at Liamani’s first musical release since her endlessly catchy EP, Dear Little Me.

As if the song itself wasn’t charming enough (fans of “All I Want for Christmas Is You” or Sabrina Carpenter’s fruitcake, please run, don’t walk, to Spotify rn), Liamani paired it with a self-directed music video, feat. all her besties from the set of Camp Rock 3. Brb, rewatching the adorable footage below to see if we can spot any Easter eggs…
A self-proclaimed snowy season lover, Liamani sat down with us to dish on her new track, plus the warm ‘n’ fuzzy (and v. true!) stories that inspired it. All you need now are your plaid PJs and cocoa mug.

Girls’ Life: When did you decide you wanted to write your own holiday song?
Liamani Segura: I’ve always wanted to do one, honestly. Growing up, Christmas music was so big in our house. We’d listen to it all the time. I actually called the song “A Christmas I Won’t Forget” because I wrote it about a bunch of my real-life family memories.
GL: How would you describe the vibes of the song?
Liamani: I wanted it to feel very nostalgic. I love me a good classic Christmas song, one that makes you feel cozy or is about spending time with family. I tried to capture that vibe, so I can’t wait for you to hear it.
GL: Do you have a fave of the traditions you sing about?
Liamani: Sure do! Every Thanksgiving, everyone from my family comes together and goes to my grandparents’ house. We have this dinner where my grandpa, who’s an amazing cook, makes all the food: turkey, yams, green bean casserole, the best food ever. And for Christmas, we kind of do the same thing.
GL: Is there a dish you always grab seconds of?
Liamani: My favorite, personally, is fruit salad. It’s my go-to every Christmas. Like, I won’t even eat the real food, I’ll just go straight to the fruit salad. [She gave us the secret recipe and it calls for both whipped cream and marshmallows so we can’t exactly blame her.]
GL: What’s your most-watched holiday movie?
Liamani: Have you ever seen The Polar Express? My parents, siblings and I make eggnog milkshakes and then all watch it together each Christmas.
GL: And any New Year’s resolutions you’re already making for 2026?
Liamani: Every year, of course, I want to improve on lots of things. But I rarely go into a year thinking: This is exactly how I want to be. I need to accomplish this or go here. I’m more into going with the flow.
