Gather round, VKs! We just got an exciting first glimpse of Descendants: Wicked Wonderland (peep the new teaser below).
Happy to confirm, Red and Chloe—aka Disney darlings Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker—are back on the big screen in this fifth installment in the hit DCOM series. The movie is slated to drop on Disney Channel and Disney+ this summer…as if we needed yet another reason to start counting down to sunny season ASAP.
Judging by the teaser, Wicked Wonderland will pick up where Rise of Red left off, following rivals-turned-buds Red and Chloe on their adventures in Wonderland. We see them stash their magical pocket watch in the Royal Vault for safekeeping—only for the villainous Maddox Hatter to attempt to steal it for himself. And if we learned one thing from Rise of Red‘s twisty time-bending plot? It’s that altering the past can have major future consequences.
Not only will this next flick feature our fave returning characters (think: Brandy as Cinderella, Melanie Paxson as the Fairy Godmother and Rita Ora as the evil-yet-iconic Queen of Hearts), but newcomers to the franchise will also have a chance to shine. Call us biased, but we’re especially excited to see our Dec/Jan 2026 cover star Liamani Segura appear as Red’s little sis, the adorable Princess Pink.
Fingers crossed we’ll get more insider info about the musical numbers, drama-filled storylines and fresh characters as summer approaches. Let’s just say if *we* had the ability t0 time travel, we’d skip straight to premiere day.
