Cuffing season is upon us…literally. On October 4th, Joe Keery attended Sabrina Carpenter’s show during the first weekend of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. During her performances, Carpenter chooses a fan from the crowd to get “arrested” for being too attractive during her song “Juno.” This recent show in Texas was no different. However, rumors began to circulate online after Carpenter chose to arrest Keery, know to audiences as the singer Djo.
During her performance, fans didn’t miss how willing Keery seemed to be when Carpenter was placing him under arrest, proudly taking the singer’s prop as she dedicated the performance to him.
Almost a week later on Oct. 10, Carpenter was seen attending Djo’s set during the second weekend of Austin City Limits, supposedly heading backstage during the performance.
Since being spotted by fans, the rumor of Hollywood’s newest potential couple has officially taken the internet by storm. One fan on X writes, “Maybe I’m crazy and delusional but Joe Keery and Sabrina Carpenter would really work.” Other fans expressed their opinions on TikTok, citing both celebs as a potential new power couple. (And honestly? We kinda see it too.)
While there’s still no word on whether the two have made it official, Keery and Carpenter followed each other on Instagram following Keery’s “arrest,” making fans speculate if Keery has found himself in Carpenter’s good graces.
