It’s official—Camp Rock 3 is happening! It’s been a looong while since the OG Camp Rock premiered on Disney Channel in 2008. Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam followed in 2010. (Happy 15th anniversary to the sequel!) And now, the third installment is on the way next year (with a star-studded cast lineup, may we add).
Bc it’s one of our favorite DCOM series of all time, we can’t back down from telling you all the details we know about the film (so far).

What’s it about?
Connect 3 is on the search for new talent after losing their opener for an epic reunion tour. What place is better to find the next big thing than at Camp Rock? After all, that is where Connect 3 ~connected,~ and Mitchie Torres let her light shine. Not to mention the empowering performance from Margaret Dupree and the absolute bop that is “Hasta La Vista.” (Too many iconic moments and stars to name them all, tbh).
In Camp Rock 3, new campers compete to become the opening act for Connect 3 on tour. And, yep, just as you can imagine, the tension will bring more heat than the campfire itself (think: friendship drama and unexpected crushes).
If you haven’t already, now’s the time to catch up on both of the OG films to memorize the catchy songs, fun dances and camper conflicts. We’ll save the details on the Camp Star rivalry for another summer (storytime by the fire pit, anyone?).

Who’s involved?
Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas are set to guest star in the film. They’ll be reprising their roles (Jason, Shane and Nate Gray) that made Disney Channel history while executive producing alongside Demi Lovato. Maria Canals-Barrera is also returning to her role as Connie, Mitchie’s mom.
New campers include current GL cover star Liamani Segura (who’s our new leading lady Sage), Malachi Barton from Zombies 4 (we can’t wait to see him as bad boy Fletch) and Lumi Pollack from Electric Bloom (she’s playing cello prodigy Rosie).
Also joining the cast? Hudson Stone (Desi), Casey Trotter (Cliff), Brooklynn Pitts (Callie), Ava Jean (Madison) and Sherry Cola (Lark).
