Looking for an easy DIY to make your Christmas decor sparkle? Beaded bows are here to make your whole tree shimmer—plus make for the coziest cold-weather crafting sesh (hot cocoa not optional!).
What you need:
With just three materials you can snag at your local craft store, these darling bows couldn’t be any easier. Just grab some wire, beads of varying sizes and a pair of scissors or pliers.
@genevavanderzeil Replying to @Lindsey sharing a turorial for how to make these beaded bow ornaments! You can use any sort of beads for this, I used 16mm ones. If you sue smaller beads yoh will probably need to have more beads in it, just play around until it looks right. You can find beads at craft stores or bead stores, ive also added a link to the exact ones I used in my link tree! I got the wire in rhe florist section of the craft store but any thin wire will work. #diy #diychristmas #diychristmasdecorations #diyornaments #handmadechristmas
Let’s get started!
First, thread your wire into 13 beads, making sure one larger bead is in the center. Carefully slide the ends of the leftover wire back into the larger bead to form two loops. Tighten the wire by pulling on it and add 6 more beads. Secure the ends by tying the wire around the last bead, and once it’s secure, cut off the excess.
To hang your bow, create an extra loop by threading another piece of wire through the middle bead, or feed a ribbon through the center bead. Now you’re ready to spruce up your tree/garland/wreath—or gift a few to your bestie!
