Music has always been a reliable beauty muse, but this spring’s runways clearly took notes from our favorite pop princesses. From a classic T-Swift red lip to avant-garde looks worthy of the Pink Pony Club, it’s time to bust out the glitter and get shining. Baby, that’s show business for you.
Taylor Swift’s Luxe Lip

That red lip classic thing that you like is back. Start by lining lips with a red pencil. Next, add a layer of matching matte red, then blot with a tissue. Repeat the swipe-and-blot routine two or three more times for a lived-in look that won’t budge, says makeup artist Sophia Hutch. To extend wear even further, pat on a tiny bit of translucent powder after the final blot to lock in the pigment and prevent smears.

Beyoncé’s Bronze Beauty

Take Beyoncé’s signature gilded glow to the hallway with “a multi-use cream stick [either in bronzy shades or pinky-coral] that can be used on your cheeks, eyes and lips, so your face stays seamless,” explains Hutch. “From there, just add definition to the lash line with a liner and mascara.”

Sabrina Carpenter’s Cute Curls
Big, bouncy hair? Please, please, please! Before curling, prep your strands with mousse, which “gives that soft volume Sabrina is known for,” says Dippity-Do’s Deisy Alfaro. After curling, mist your hair with a flexible-hold hairspray, then “gently shake it out with your fingers for flirty, effortless movement.”

Chappell Roan’s Maximalist Makeup

Yeah, showing up to chem class in Chappell Roan’s full glam would feel like a lot. So swipe on a subtler spin by focusing on just one feature. “I love a bright eye with toned-down skin and a clear lip gloss,” Hutch reveals. Her secret to making bold color last? Layering. “Under your powder shadow or blush, there should be a layer of pigmented cream close to the same color.”

Olivia Rodrigo’s Glitter Grunge

Does it get any more superstar-coded than Olivia’s ’90s-inspired grungy glam? To manifest the magic without the mess, “opt for a cream or gel glitter—chunkier if you want a grungy look, finer if you want more glam,” Hutch explains. “Stick to your eye area and keep placement intentional.”
