Grab your popcorn buckets and frying pans, ZOMBIES girls—because Milo Manheim is *officially* playing Flynn Rider in Disney’s upcoming live-action Tangled!
For years now, Milo’s been one of the top fan-casted picks for the role. And yesterday, Disney Studios confirmed that he’ll be portraying our favorite thieving heartthrob.
Milo will be starring alongside Teagan Croft (best known for her DC series Titans), who has been cast as Rapunzel.
The film is directed by Michael Gracey, who previously brought The Greatest Showman to life. (!!!) We are already swooning over the stunning visuals (Lantern scene, anyone?) and iconic songs (v. pumped to hear Milo’s rendition of “I See The Light”).
Seeing Milo playing Zed in the ZOMBIES franchise, we already know he is going to do an ~exceptional~ (pun intended) Flynn Rider. From his vocals to his acting to his dancing talent, we have a feeling he’s going to steal all of our hearts (and maybe a tiara or two).
No release date has been announced yet, but it’s rumored that Tangled will start filming in the UK in June 2026. Until then, we’ll be dreaming in our towers.
