Sometimes, the morning can be the *hardest* part of the day to deal with—especially when your alarm clock is ringing before the sun even comes up. The solution? We recommend a morning meditation session to help usher you into your early day. Not sure where to start? We’ve got you covered.
Step 1: Find a quiet area
Search your house for a quiet, calm area that you can meditate in. Whether it’s your bedroom, the backyard or a small, private corner, make sure that you feel relaxed when there.
Step 2: Take a deep breath
Breathe in, hold for 10-20 seconds and then release for five seconds. Repeat this pattern after you fully exhale.
Step 3: Imagine a calm setting
When taking your deep breaths, ensure that you are thinking about a happy, relaxing place. This can be the beach, the forest or even just your favorite reading spot.
By thinking about a calm place, your body will naturally become more relaxed. This will help keep your breaths steady and even to fully get in the zone.
Step 4: Set a timer
Set a timer for 10 minutes and repeat these steps until the timer is done. After, make sure to eat a healthy breakfast so you can feel as physically amazing as you do mentally.
