We’ve all been there: Staring into the fridge after a loooong Tuesday, dreading the homework sesh ahead and not having a clue what to snack on. Those days are long gone—we’ve rounded up 7 delicious (and nutritious) after-school snacks that’ll be ready in under 10 minutes.
Pomegranate seed chocolate clusters
Real talk: Sometimes you just need a sweet treat to bring your energy back. But instead of reaching for a candy bar (that’ll just spike your blood sugar and tank it later, leaving you feeling even more tired and hangry), try a fruit-forward snack instead. Pour pomegranate seeds into a muffin tin, drizzle with melted chocolate and pop them in the freezer to chill for a few minutes. Check out this recipe to create your own!
Strawberry matcha smoothie bowl

Nothing hits quite like a strawberry matcha smoothie. Blend frozen berries with a banana, Greek yogurt and coconut milk, then pour your matcha on top to create an Instagram-worthy treat that’s almost too pretty to eat.
Carrot salad
You’ve definitely seen this snack all over your FYP—the TikTok viral carrot salad. Shred carrots and mix in a little sesame oil, soy sauce and rice wine vinegar for a spin on a classic crunchy salad. (Psst: This savory snack is also amazing for your skin!)
Chocolate-covered rice cakes
Rice cakes + chocolate + your favorite fruit = your newest guilt-free obsession. Smother a rice cake with melted chocolate (plus PB for healthy fat), then top with sliced strawberries, kiwis, peanuts or pistachios. Check out the step-by-step here.
Avocado cucumber salad
If you’re craving something fresh, this zesty salad is about to remind you of sweet summertime. Slice fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado and onions, then drizzle on a homemade vinaigrette (bonus points if you have some fresh dill for flavor). Find the full recipe here.
Spring rolls
Searching forsomething more substantial to power your study sesh? Say hi to spring rolls. Chop up some peppers, cabbage and cucumber, then roll them up in rice paper with any protein of your choice (we like pre-cooked shrimp, which you can snag from the grocery store, or tofu). Don’t forget the soy sauce for dipping! Check out the full recipe here.
Yogurt Bowl
You can’t go wrong with a classic yogurt bowl…but what if we leveled it up by adding a chocolate shell? Melt chocolate chips in the microwave with a teaspoon of coconut oil, then smooth it over your Greek yogurt. Pop it in the freezer for 10 minutes until it hardens, then garnish with toppings like pistachios, raspberries and shredded coconut.
