POV: It’s finally the weekend, but it’s 10 degrees and snowing outside. You and the girls were planning to hit the town for sushi night, but Mother Nature had other plans. Fear not, friend! We’re here to help you plan some cozy at-home fun with your besties.
Plan a summer-themed movie night

Why dread about the cold when you can pretend it’s warm! Lounging in your PJs and watching a beachy rom-com? Yes, pls!
Nail the “Pretending It’s Summer” theme with warm-weather faves like nachos, hot dogs, lemonade and fruit salad.
Stuck on what to watch? Check out Teen Beach Movie, Aquamarine or Sleepover.
Host a spa day

Grab your nail polish, face masks and makeup, because you’re about to turn your bedroom into an ultimate beauty salon.
Snag some lavender-scented candles to set the vibe (it’s known to help relaxation and reduce stress). Don’t forget to text your besties to bring their robes! Then, hit Target or the drug store and stock up on some beauty must-haves: think claw clips, face masks, lip gloss and a colorful eyeshadow palette.
Before your girls arrive, queue up a spa day playlist and set out some snacks (fruit-infused water + trail mix + veggie tray = the ultimate refreshing vibe). Ahh…

Perform an at-home fashion show
Because we’re pretending it’s New York Fashion Week indoors, tyvm. Pop on a poppy playlist, sort through your wardrobe for a uniquely chic outfit and get glamed up—it’s time to rock your at-home runway. Pick different themes with your squad (Y2K revival, Hollywood glam, ’80s retro) or see who can come up with the best outfit for potential occasions (like the V-Day dance, a date with your crush or your Sweet 16).
With a sparkly backdrop, Hollywood-themed decor and runway props like sunglasses and boas, your besties are in for the best time!

Host a Karaoke Night

Snow outside = concert inside. Queue up a group setlist of YouTube karaoke renditions from all of your faves (Olivia Rodrigo, Freya Skye, Harry Styles). Then, have your mom/dad/little sibs judge each performance (we’re making this an IRL version of American Idol). Bonus points if you dress up like a popstar!
Have a game night

Even if it is freezing outside, you and your besties can still get competitive indoors. Play board games like Uno or Monopoly or go digital with Just Dance, MarioKart or Disney Channel trivia on YouTube!
To make the competition even more real, stock up on prizes for the winners. This can be anything from candy goodie bags, $5 Starbucks gift cards or even fuzzy socks to keep their toes warm. Wrap your rewards in colorful tissue paper, pop in a paper gift bag and tie with a bow. Cute!
