About the internship:

As an intern with Girls’ Life, you’ll have the chance to work closely with our editorial and creative teams to contribute to various tasks like writing articles, interviewing celebs, designing content for social media, working with our advertising clients and supporting the day-to-day operations of our magazine.

What we’re looking for:

+ Passion for content creation: A love for storytelling, aesthetics and engaging with a young audience.

+ Strong writing skills: You should be able to write clearly, creatively and concisely—whether it’s a fun beauty tip or a personality quiz.

+ Interest in our main content verticals: You will have the opportunity to specialize in one of our content pillars (entertainment, fashion, beauty, relationships, lifestyle, DIYs or social media marketing).

+ Organized and proactive: You should be detail-oriented, a self-starter and comfortable managing tasks independently.

+ Professional and reliable: Follows directions carefully, responds to messages in a timely manner and communicates proactively about progress, questions or deadlines.

+ Team player: Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

+ Social media savvy: Experience with Instagram, TikTok or other platforms is a plus.

Qualifications:

+ Must be a current high school or college student or recent graduate.

+ Must have a keen interest in teen culture and digital media.

+ Must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

+ Previous writing or editorial experience is a plus, but not required.

+ Familiarity with graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
